JACL will recognize these champions of justice as JACL Honolulu’s 2011 Distinguished Service Awardees: U.S. Senator Daniel K. Akaka & Alan Murakami, Esq. Proceeds from a silent auction will go towards scholarships for high school students. Honorary co-chairs U.S. Senator Daniel K. Inouye, Irene Hirano Inouye, & Colbert Matsumoto are expected to attend. 30 years ago TEMARI's faculty cleaned their studios and sold seconds and supplies at a small sale at its former 10th Avenue home. "One person's trash is another's treasure" held true when the faculty and students bought from each other. At this event, you'll find collectibles, gently-used items as well as brand-new products. Spend $10 in the JCCH Gift Shop on the first floor and we will validate your parking.
