The Japanese Cultural Center of Hawai‘i makes its rooms available for various cultural classes including Chadō (The Way of Tea), kumihimo (Japanese braiding), and shodō/ shūji (Japanese calligraphy). Other Japanese cultural arts workshops are held at the Cultural Center periodically. Public announcements are made through the media and the Japanese Cultural Center of Hawai'i publications.
